A native of North Carolina, Beth is an artist and art educator. She recently retired from 30 years of teaching public high school art and now pursues her career as a full time artist, from which she plans to never retire! Her medium of choice is oil and acrylic, focusing on animals, people, and still life as subject matter. Her formal education includes a BA in Art Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a MA Ed in Art Education from East Carolina University and various Summer studies in painting including Savannah College of Art and Design in Georgia. Her professional life is important to her, but her personal life revolves around her husband, son, and daughter-in-law. She is thankful for a full and happy life, and actively involved with her family, friends, church, community and art.
