Shana Grugan

Shana Grugan is an artist working in acrylic. She was born in Greenville, SC, and studied art at The University of Georgia (BFA, Drawing and Painting). Shana continued her post-graduate studies at The University of South Carolina (MAT, Art Education). She has taught art in public schools throughout the Carolinas, levels K-12. Beginning in 2017, Shana decided to pursue art after several years of teaching and starting a family. Her work has been included in juried shows and art collectives throughout the Southeast. Shana currently works from her home studio where her journeys of creating art and sharing the process with others through teaching have been brought together. Shana lives with her husband and two children in Pawleys Island, SC.
