2017 Schedule

Coffee with the Authors

Thursdays, 10 to 11 a.m.

March 9. Carole O’Neill (Hidden Truth) She came to the resort 1946 to dance in the casino ballroom.  Her body was found 5 days later in the cranberry bog one town over. After a trial and acquittal, the people in the village felt the murderer was a neighbor, until last summer when Samantha Scott bought a Victorian cottage in the village and found evidence to solve the cold case. This is Carole’s O’Neill’s second novel. A true story!

April 6. Peter Hoyer (Characters on the Green) “Peter’s lifelong love for the game has given experiences that any golf lover would enjoy. Read this and you will see why golf is more than a game. It has Character.”

May 11. Curtis J. James (High Hand) Frank Adams must find out why his poker buddies are being targeted for assassination and gets surprising help from his ex-wife, Lisa Hawkes, a brilliant Russian linguist and CIA covert agent, to find out the truth in this international thriller.

September 14. Arleen Mercorella (A Matter of Survival-The Story of Frances) The journey into Alzheimer’s is handled with particular grace in this story, a very comforting segment of France’s life and her relationship with her daughter or just a matter of survival. This is a true story. She has received a great review by Writers Digest Self –Published Awards Contest.

October 12. Paul Grimshaw (Travelers of the Gray Dawn and Voyagers of the Gray Dawn) Both books involve elements of the U.S. Civil War (more so in Travelers), and Voyagers is loosely based on the legend of the Philadelphia Experiment, and is primarily set on the East Coast of the U.S. during World War II. Both books have gotten great reviews.

November 9. Ann Ipock (Life is Short, Pack Your Bags NOW!) Ann Ipock is an awarding-winning Southern humorist and speaker. Her sharp but gentle humor is a delight. This is her fourth novel about her approach to life.

December 14. Steve McMillen. (Death on Mount Pleasant) In the lastest Mickke D adventure, “Death on Mount Pleasant,” we find the hero back in his home town of Lancaster, Ohio where he is trying to help an old high school friend determine whether his sister’s tragic death was an accident or a horrific homicide. Come out and enjoy the presentation!
