Rebecca Bridges worked for more than 30 years for the Department of the Army as a computer specialist. In addition she served as a warrant officer in the U.S. Army Reserves specializing in cyber security.

South Carolina is her new home making it the tenth state where she’s lived in addition to one country other than the United States. Time spent in other locations has given her a wealth of ideas for books. Now all she has to do is put them down on paper!

As an avid reader of romance for more years than she cares to admit she’s wanted to write her own stories. Upon retirement she made that dream come true.

Inspiration for her books came from a number of sources. She wondered how young adults could deal with a failing economy. Did they have to cancel or drop out of college? Would they join the Army instead? Did they think the war in the Middle East would end soon? These thoughts along with the popular television series, Breaking Bad, were the seeds from which her first published book, After the Reunion, grew.

With its success, she decided to give her hero a brother, and After the Raid was born. Computer security specialist Lucinda Edwards is working with the FBI on a hacking/embezzlement case. When budget analyst Jason Meyers shows up, the two are forced to work together to find a rogue hacker, who may be threatening not only the government computers, but also their lives.
