On Thursday, June 25 from 11 a.m. – 12 noon, Bobby Hunt will be talking to us about his book, They Call Me Panda. According to the author, this isn’t a story of triumph, accomplishment or soul-searching. Instead it’s a very funny – and true – account of a dad and his son just trying to survive while outdoing each other during a hike along the legendary 2,200-mile tortuous Appalachian train. This event is free, but seating is limited so reservations are required. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, chairs will be placed at six-foot intervals. Call 910.575.5999 to hold your spot. Coffee and tea will be served.
