Babe is an award-winning collage and mixed media artist. Using mat board as her base, she will focus on creating a landscape collage in this one-day class. You’ll work with shapes, color, harmony, perspective, design and composition. Mat board will be provided, however if you prefer to work on canvas, bring your own 11 x 14 or 9 x 12 canvas.
We will provide a range of paper, including rice paper, metallics, foils, newspaper, and more eclectic “stuff.” You may bring any specialty paper you may have, fabric, yarn, thread, photos.– whatever you would like to use in your collage. As always, Babs will lead you in an adventure and can expect to complete your painting by the end of the day.
We will take a short 30-minute lunch, so plan on bringing your lunch or pick up something close by the gallery.
This workshop is appropriate for all levels and experience.
