New at the Gallery

With 100+ fine regional artists represented at Sunset River Gallery, there’s always something new here. In the past few weeks, we’ve seen a wide range of new work. This includes paintings by Wilmington, NC artist Janet Sessoms, known for her lush oil paintings depicting the Cape Fear area. NC artist Joy Parks Coats recently brought us one of her acrylics, inspired by her travel to the Caribbean Sea. Oil painter Connie Winters is also influenced by her travels and has several pieces in the gallery. Mary E. Smith works in oil and recently brought us a number of beach-themed miniatures. There are also new works by wildlife photographer Gary Baird, acrylic artist Rachel Sunnell, and acrylic/watercolor artist Vicki Neilon.

New holiday-themed pieces include pottery by Kelly Long, shell trees by Deb Richards, fiber art by Betty Barger, and gift card holders by Peggy Bowers.

Coming soon are more acrylics by Becky Steele and Ginny Lassiter.
