Abstract art is about emotions. This workshop teaches you to listen to your instinct and transform a special place into a timeless piece of art.
This workshop will use a picture of a landscape or skyline that evokes peace, joy, and energy. You can bring your photo or find something online.
We will start by putting some light background color and collaging the skyline with different paper and materials (a pack of ephemera will be provided). After collaging, we will apply thin layers of acrylics to unify and enhance the composition, and we will finish the painting with pencils, graphite, and soft and oil pastels.
You do not need any previous experience to join us. Take the opportunity to challenge your art and overcome the fear of big canvases in a supportive and nurturing group of like-minded artists!
