A workshop on pattern and variation in art. Kathleen will guide students through making a four part pattern that will be repeated in 4 pieces. The aim is to learn how pattern and variation can be used in successful art. Students will supply their own paint and brushes, Kathleen will supply paper and tracing paper. The gallery will supply water, pencils, pencil sharpener, and paper towels.

Supply List: Brushes. Paint – Suggested colors (but students can use what they are comfortable with): White, Cad Red medium (or similar), Cad Yellow medium (or similar), Ultramarine or Cobalt Blue, Burnt Umber, Pthalo or Viridian Green, Alizarin Crimson or Magenta, Pthalo blue.
