Woodsong Porch & Art Stroll April 25th – Canceled

So sorry! Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the Village of Woodsong has decided to cancel this event!

For the fifth year in a row, we’re joining with the Village of Woodsong in Shallotte, NC to present the Woodsong Porch & Art Stroll on Saturday, April 25, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 25 of our fabulous artists will be situated with their work on the porches of this charming community. Stroll from porch to porch under a canopy of oaks as you shop and meet these local artists and artisans. You’ll find paintings, prints, pottery, fiber arts and more! Enjoy live music by Miles Atlas as well as local food trucks and vendors. Free parking and quick shuttle service available at the former Lowe’s Foods parking lot on Village Road. Visit the Event Facebook page here.

The Woodsong Porch & Art Stroll was first held in April 2016, organized by a group of residents to promote the lovely community of Woodsong and raise money for a scholarship. The first “stroll” featured 16 local artists, musical entertainment, and free wine tastings. With a better understanding of the fundraising potential of the event, the planning committee decided to focus its fundraising efforts on an endowment that would assist students pursing careers in the thriving construction industry. The endowment is the first fund in Brunswick County’s history to provide scholarships for students engaged in trades and certifications.
