From March 21 through May 1, the gallery will host a comprehensive exhibition of non-objective works by Raleigh, NC artist Eric McRay. Originally from Washington, DC, he graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art before moving to North Carolina, where he has been featured in television and radio interviews as well as print and online publications such as Our State magazine and Southern Living magazine among others. The Raleigh News & Observer named him as one of the “Artists to Watch.” Eric is also a founding member of City Market Artist Collective in Raleigh.
A meet-the-artist reception has been scheduled for Friday, April 9 from 4 – 7 p.m. On Saturday, April 10 at noon, Eric will present a gallery talk. The public is invited to both at no charge. Updated information will be posted here and on the gallery’s Facebook and Instagram pages.
