Sketching Workshop w/Mike Rooney

One of North Carolina’s best known plein air painters, Mike will be here to share some of his quick sketch and composition techniques with us in this hands-on one-day session. He’ll share how to take a pen and pad plus a small watercolor kit to create a quick drawing with a watercolor wash. Mike will cover perspective, composition, wash techniques and more. Use his techniques to create your own travel journal, a study for a larger piece, or a finished painting. Call to register. $95.
