Join us from 2 – 3 p .m. on Thursday, May 12 as local pastry chef and cook, Philip Laura whips up some simple appetizers and demonstrates how to stage and serve them beautifully. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Philip has worked in Atlanta, New Orleans, Raleigh, Washington, D.C. and as far abroad as Antarctica. He has served as executive chef at the National Institutes of Health and Federal Aviation Administration, as well as the pastry chef for Whole Foods Market.
