The gallery is featuring acrylic artist RL Thomas and his collection, Moons & Dunes, from Monday, April 14 through Saturday, June 14. RL specializes in fine art that can “fit in your suitcase,” which makes him much loved by the many out-of-town visitors we have! After a career in advertising and design, RL began taking classes and painting full time. At the age of 69, he went back to graduate school at Radford University, studying watercolor under renowned artist Z.L. Feng. The eternal art student, R.L. has become collected and respected throughout the country. He is especially known for his beach scenes with richly shadowed sand dunes, sea waters, and moon lit skies.
